Today, as we were ring shopping together she pointed our several simple wedding bands.
 She said, "I don't want anything too fancy or expensive. Anything fancier than these is not a symbol for our love, it's a symbol of greed"

Today, as I was driving to work, I was hating my life for condemning myself to so much stress.
On the right hand side of the road, I noticed a local homeless man that I often see, dragging with him all of his belongings in garbage bags through the cold. He had a huge smile on his face.

Today, during a talent show at my high school an autistic girl sang, “Stand By Me.”
In the middle of the song she got flustered and forgot the lyrics. Almost simultaneously, the entire audience of students stood up and started singing the lyrics and helped her through the rest of the song.
She had the biggest smile on her face and took a bow.

Today, on my 19th birthday, I told my father that I have no idea what I want to do with my life.
He put his arm on my shoulder and said,
